Default Knocking from the rear

I have the most annoying knocking from the rear of my car, few months back i had my rear diff changed then a few weeks later i changed the rear brake pads and this when the knocking started, so i thought it was coming from the rear shocks as i have read loads of posts that this is a comman fault . Guess what i still have this annoying knock. ( this is a cluncking noise not a little rattle )

My car is a MY96 WRX, help please this is doing my head in now

Thumbs up

I changed Gavs suspension for him on saturday ( although my Scooby has gone, i'm still getting jobs on them... keeps me busy )... This hasn't made any difference to his noise as he's said...
Anyone help... all the bushes etc look OK on the back end, nowt is standing out...
I don't really know how this noise has started since changing the pads...?
Is it normal if you give the driveshaft a wiggle for the to be a bit of noise from the rear diff...?
My money on where this noise is coming from is going on the diff/ driveshaft area...?
BTTT for help...

it sounded like the zorst hitting bodywork...but wasnt
I thought it might be the jack in teh boot quarter panel too......that DID make a noise, but the floor boards in the boot were the worst (not sure if they are standard or not - never looked in anyone elses boot!)
