Default new scooby owner with simple question

hi all,ive read a few posts on here about fuel etc but ive just bought a wrx sti uk and was told it was fine to stick in normal unleaded.ive only had car since sunday but have been putting in bp ultimate.is it ok to use ultimate then normal etc etc.cheers.Andy

ide probably stick to one or the other,im led to believe that your ok with normal unleaded in a uk spec car

stick with shell v.power all the way u cant go wrong

you can run normal but would recomend V-Power all day long mate

As above, but, stay away from BP. A very bad fuel, causes det and that's not good! I had mine mapped on v power and its good stuff. I did run my UK MY99 on normal unleaded for a few years but then changed to super unleaded and it was much smoother.
