hi folks another day another problem.i was driving about tonight and all of a sudden my wagon made a noise as if air was escaping from somewhere.just before it *** on boost it was making a dumpvalve noise but doing it for ages and it wasnt pulling aswell either.think it could be a boost leak, can anybody help me diagnose the prblem cheers.

 

i had similar last thursday. hitting boost in 4th accelerating hard and like a reverse woosh noise came about and i had no boost lol.

do you have an aftermarket vta dump valve fitted? i have a baileys and took it off to clean it thoroughly with wd-40. havent had chance since to try it out, bt hopefully that will be it. unless you have a leak in a boost pipe somewhere... ive got various silicone hoses in my engine bay, so assumed it wasnt one of those leaking.
