Default Rattle on Boost

hey ,
I have noticed that I am getting a rattle when I build up to boost, but only during 4000 - 5000 rpm after that it dissapears.

Any idea what it might be?

Cheers in advance!

Robster, assume it's detonating until you know otherwise. Get it checked out by a tuning specialist immediately if not sooner, and don't rag it until you have done so. Get it on V power if you haven't already.

Bung some octane booster in there and see what happens.

it all depends on what you mean by rattle - my wife's WRX has a loose header heat shield and that rattles only at certain revs

It might be something simple but like Alan said it could be detonation so get it checked
