#1 (permalink) The baffles have gone in my HKS Backbox, not many places want to sell just the backbox, i already have the whole system,but thats all they want to sell.

so, can i use an angle grinder and open it up and remove the baffles and weld back up ?

where would be the best place to grind, at the back,around the whole backbox/seam area,would it pull apart like that ?

i know a few peeps who have done stuff like this on here

no offence but i wouldnt do that at all , just go spend the money and buy another system

or

if you have a hks super dealer over there they can custom make you a hks rear silencer (east cost customs in northern ireland) are one such place.

well,did it, removed offending baffle plate and wading, welded back up,looks sweet, sounds great too

so it can be one ;-)
