Thumbs down General Missfire on all Cylinders??

Hi, ive just bought an 01 impreza wrx, just after i baought it it started missing origionall only on cylinder 1, so i changed all plug and coil packs and fuel filter and thought that would solve it, but is still missing throught the rev range??. Code reader now sayin that its general missfire on all cylinders?. Can anyone give me an idea on what could be casing it..??

first off i would check all earths on engine are good.
what fuel are you using in it?

will check earth straps tommorow thanks,im just using standard 95ron unleaded. do you think it would be a good idea to use a higer octane?.

using 95 ron could also be a factor in my opinion,try filling up with some super like vpower or tesco99.
do a ecu reset and see what happens.

first time i bought my car i put 95 tescos in and run like a bag o ****e no power no turbo nothing. had to run full tank off. when ultimate went in it shot off like a rocket and never put nothing else in but high octain since. thought this was strange since it was only a myoo uk 2000

if you mean when you check the ecu it says missfire on cylinder 1,2,3,4 then check the neutral switch on the gearbox it thinks your changing gear when your not
