Default Servicing costs?

Hi all,

I'm just in the process of booking a service for the car. 5yr/60months includes cam belt change.

Can anyone advise me what they paid for theirs to be done at 60month / 60,000. Would be good to know what sort of price i may expect to pay.

Cheers,

Hi,

I had one done on my old `00 classic about 18 months ago from "Subaru 4 You" in Newberry. Cost me about £300 in think and that included the tensioner also. Might be worth calling him, 0163535355 / 07771636604

Not sure how much it'll be now, engines are pretty much the same, even when I lift the lid of my STi Type Uk which is 5 years newer it looks the same as the classic so cant see it costing too much more...

Its a good blast down the M3 too, not that I didnt anything over 65mph there or back........

Hi - I had my service carried out by GMD Subaru who did my cam belt change at 50000m last year - cost £400. Cambelts etc. included.

Cool, cheers for the replies.

Mine has been quoted at £360. That includes the oil change + filter and the CAM belt change being done.

Subaru at Slip End in Luton are doing mine and it also means i get the nice Subaru Stamp in the Service book too.

Seems a shame really as the car has only done 36K but i guess the 60month bit is in there for a reason.

Sure is there for a reason, specially when it comes to them there cam belts...
Have you shopped around between subaru dealers for a quote? There was a £75 difference between my two local dealers in northumberland and durham!
Eyes. Out. Pulled.

Not shopped around yet but to be honest, the next Subaru dealer is miles away and would cause a shed load of pain to get to and then wait for three hours whilst the work is done.

My old local Subaru dealership seems to no longer be a subaru approved workshop so i'm sort of holding back from going there for that reason.

I'll have a look to see what i can come up with but it's sort of confirmed that it'll cost me £300-£400 anyway.
