Default Over heating

my car started to over heat a couple of days ago when you push her on but if dont horse it on its ok and getting loads of warm air to and i noticed that the bottom hose to raditor is cold and top hose is warm could it be the thermosat or am i wrong thanks

Yes - sounds like the stat is shot.

so if i get it changed and bleed the system will that be the problem solved do you think mate

hopefuly its the stat mate but could be your dredded head gasket on its way out

If the bottom rad hose is cold/cool,then the stat is not opening to allow
circulation of the hot coolant in the block.
First thing to change is the Stat.
Make sure you use anti-freeze/corrosion inhibitor when refilling the system and make sure you bleed/remove the air locks.
Put the heater onto hot while your bleeding the system and when the fans cut in and temp gauge is reading normal,make sure the top and bottom rad hoses and both heater hoses on the bulkhead are hot.

thanks for help getting stat changed tomorrow hopefully solves my problem ill keep u posted mate
