De-cat downpipe, panel filter, walbro fuel pump, and remap will see 270 with standard td04 turbo.
If youd rather have more, i.e 300 or above straight away, buy a replacement turbo first, then remap it or youll be paying for 2 remaps.
TD05, vf28 etc are all good options.
But be warned......over 300 and youll need to budget for a clutch shortly!!

Ok first the bad news, The 97/98 uk cars can not at the moment be remapped . this is a definite if you have a 3 plug ecu, you can check this, its under the carpet in the passengers footwell. this is due to change later this year as a board is coming out but if you want more power now the a ECU upgrade is required and you will be looking at £800-£1000 for one of these with a remap . plenty of exp guy`s on here can help you if you want to go this route , jollygreenmonster has been very helpfull to me
If you like me and many others are going to wait for the ECU mod then your first job is to get a boost gauge fitted so you can see whats going on and make sure the engine/turbo is heathy ready for the mod when it comes out ! and then Wait and wait a little more :
