Default centre decat

I have a 2003 wrx and have fitted a prodrive backbox and intercooler hose, I now have a centre decat pipe am aiming to get ppp performance a little cheaper so will be going for a remap when my warranty is out in July, can I safely fit this part now in preperation or will it cause any running issues or cel lights if so I will fit it much nearer the time, any advice appreciated
also is anything else worth getting for the car before a remap, and what can I expect powerwise.

I got a MY03 wrx with prodrive bb and centre decat no problems at all.
No CEL lights too.

But im at a stage where I wanted to do the PPP on the cheap too, but it seems that everyone says to get rid of the downpipe and up pipe for more bhp...

Thanks I will fit it then the weekend. I am still undecided about a up pipe and downpipe I understand the ppp is 265bhp and tuners quote 270-280bhp for a remap with sportscat which is not a lot extra for the costs involved I have a few months left to decide.

True say about the money for an extra 10-15bhp.

Some tuners say that the cat in the up pipe does break internally and follow through to the turbo and kill the turbo. Has anyone else heard of this happening?
