coolant temp sensor???

Default coolant temp sensor???

i think this may be a problem on my 95 legacy twin turbo.
check engine light comes on when cold,fan also cuts in,engine runs like sack of **** for about 30 -60 seconds how can i reset/replace sensor?????

the job is easy enough,bout a 20 - 30 min job,located driver side of engine,under the inlet manifold

is this part of water coolant side or is this mounted on engine block
sorry this sounds like real numpty question but i,m not a mechanic!

its mounted on the engine block in the water channel
