Rear Inner Arch

Guys..

I want to tap into the rear inner arches in the boot in order to mount a board for an ICE install..

If I do this what will be the result ?? I assuming I'll have water sealing/rusting problems et al .. anything else to be worried about ??

i'd be careful with the offside rear(drivers side)the fuel filler pipe runs close to the inner arch but it depends how long the self tapers are you'd be using,i'll let someone else answer the rusting/sealing bit not too sure really
