I'm about to do a 6-speed conversion on a 95 wrx.

my question is: The speedo is cable driven with import clocks (180mph clocks) it has already a delimiter gismo half way down the cable.

When i do the conversion , i will retain the cable driven speedo set up as there is a hole on the 6 speed box to accomodate the cable.(a rubber bung is in the hole at the moment.)

Will i have to put in uk speedo clocks (160 mph clocks) or will i be ok to stay with the 180 import mph clocks.

wondered if there would be any issues with the calibration etc., probably not, but thought i'd check.

I would stick with what you have already.
The uk clocks use an electronic speed sensor, if my memory is correct?
The main thing here is the 6 speed box, is it jap or UK version.

From what I have seen the japs have 180 kph (speedo face)
The UK has 160mph, so I would imagine jap box on import clocks would be ok.
Like wise with ukbox to uk speedo.

I am not sure about jap boxes with UK speedo, have read on here with some members with calibration issues when mixing jap boxes on uk cars.

I'm putting in a uk 6 speed box, and mating it with a uk rear diff.

my car is a 95 wrx import.

cable driven speedo 180mph clocks.

The uk 6 speed box has the hole for the cable to be able to run this.
