Uk models do indeed need the cam and crank wires swapped over as the apexi is wired for the import models...... as such mine was a straight fit and start affair.... pm jolly green monster on here and he will be able to furnash you with the information to get your engine started in no time

Thats a good idea, i'll do that now. Ive got a feeling its pin 5/6 on connector B136 but just not 100% sure.

as said you need to swap crank and cam pins.. however there is a reason for that! the jap map is way too agressive on timing and will det like mad with any positive boost... don't fit it, get your mapper to and they can load a uk base map they have developed as a starting point.
if you fit and run it as is you wil be paying for a rebuild very soon

the map is meant for the sti

you have probably covered the plugs in fuel trying to start it.. it will still inject fuel taking the cam signal as the crank and be injecting fuel and sparking all at the wrong time hence won't start on the Apexi.. but now the plugs are covered in fuel and not sparking.. you might get lucky and they will dry off.. try cranking with foot to the floor on the accellerator or pull and clean the plugs
