oil catch tanks
am still a newbie to scoobs,and am a bit confused about oil catch tanks,why fit them what do they do(i no they catch oil so no pee taking)
and do you really need them
and when you have one of these do you have to fit anymore oil than normal,

the normal oil breather system is routed back to the inlet manifold, when the breathers are moved to a catch can which actually catches more water than oil. It allows for a better burn of the fuel air mix going into the cylinders. also removes condensation from the oil hence the water in the can.
some people vent them straight out the bottom of the car saves on emptying the can.
