Default blocked cat?

anyone had a blocked cat? i just put new sports cat on and was ok for first 5 miles then started missing slightly only when boost comes in.then 5 mins later as soon as you press throttle and boost guage gets to 0psi the car just violanty miss fires and slows down popping and cant now get out of first gear car will not pull at all only rvs up when out of gear and thats not too good ether
any help please...

my brother had a standerd rover turbo and the cat got bloked in that pritty much the same sytums as u but after awhile it fookd his engine due to all te back preasure so i wud just take it off and have alook

i remember on a vecra i had same thing happened wouldnt go over 10mph and blew head gasket after fitting new cat. garge tested it by taking lambda out so i will do that in the morning then or put old one back on... i was just asking because thught id done sumat wrong else were... seems funny because its a brand new sports cat only been on car 30 mins or so. if fueling/air mix was wrong would it break this quickly????

Could well have been damaged in transit and already broken up inside

am hoping so cos it will going straight back to shop anyway.. am sure it would take a lot longer for damage to occur it fueling was out maybe ?? arrived in a large box with no padding ronud it just in a plastic bag but ive seen stuff just thrown in back of (some vans not all off them) vans before have to see tomorrow when old 1 gose back on prob be pi#+ing down as usual
