Hi was driving my 94wrx import and the engine warning light came on, brought it to my mechanic who checked it and came up with engine fault 32, which he thinks is engine speed sensor anyone have this problem before?? Thanks

Oxygen sensor?

If that's definitely it (very easy to do the same test yourself, although I found my wires in the middle just under the steering column, not by the left knee) then perhap this thread might help? I just found it popped out of a search so not saying it's a good thread or anything!

 

Code 32 is an unusual code to see on your vehicle.

It means that your oxygen sensor is either unplugged or you have open circuit/short circuit in the wiring between the ECU and the Sensor.
