I've just brought a Draper engine stand (450kg model) to bolt my ej22 onto but am a bit concerned that the lower studs are not going to be long enough to bolt the brackets to. The long starter motor bolt is fine but then I need to find three other fixings.Can I use the original studs or do I have to buy longer bolts?
Has anybody had any experience in using an engine stand?

 

You can buy some threaded rod and make your own bolts to size if needed
