Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket front lambda sensor for the above car? Subaru want £293 + vat. There must be an alternative?

I did a search but didnt find anything.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I had the front Lambda sensor go on my 02 STI

I looked everywhere trying to find one - even tried Subaru scrap yards but to no avail... had to grin and bear it and buy the genuine Subaru one... same price as you were quoted....

Crazy prices! - but at the end of the day it has sorted the problem and you get the yesr warranty!

try some of the tuners they sometimes take them off cars when fitting aftermarket ecu,s, also have a look on american oxygen sender web sites they go for around 150$ over there (about £75). don,t waste your money on universal ones they don,t work.
