Hi everyone. I have a 1998 Impreza STI Type R. My windscreen wipers are coming to rest too low and 'clunk' when they get to the bottom of the windscreen ( they appear to be loose ). I have done a few net searches but i can't find the answer I need to fix the problem. Does anyone know what the problem could be ?

its a common problem for the plastic bush on the wiper motor to mech to fail and cause excessive play in the wipers. its an easy fix, either a replacement mech or a new wiper to motor bar. got my replacement from scoobymoz on here and is working perfectly, might be worth a pm as he might have more.
