Default Intercooler tilt?

Hey all,

I've read that for the classics you can get good gains in cooling by tilting the intercooler, so the back of it is more raised? Can you do this on the newage WRX and get similar cooling gains? Or no point? A few people over the pond do it, few washers, longer bolts, worth it for a few quid?

Cheers

In comparison to a classic, the newage IC is already tilted...

Front mounted Intercoolers work most effieciantly if they tilted to 20 degrees, so the air passing through it is hitting the cores and not flowing through them.

So the same princable can be applied to a top mount, it would be worth trying it.
Weather you can feel a differance i dont know, i have tilted my front mount on mine, every little helps..
