Default can the sump be removed without removing anything else? ie. headers

I am going to be starting the engine in my project car soon for the first time so i would like to clean out the sump and pick up pipe before i put in my new oil in, i was just wondering if it was a simple bolt off job as its a bit cold outside im just planning ahead really. engine is a my 98 turbo.

cheers james

u dont have to remove the headers, but when i changed mine (accident damage) i had to un do the engine mounts and lift the engine up to get at the rear bolts and they were still tricky.

as above, you have to loosen engine mounts and jack engine up to get to the rear bolts and they are still a swine
