Default Fitting a delimter

Hi

I had a mechanical delimter fitted behind my speedo clocks but it doesn't fit right and keeps falling out with the needle not registering any speed triton who fitted it said my speedo cable has a weird connection or something so what i want to do is to fit it to the gearbox end.

I had a look undet the car to where the cable attached to the gearbox and there are 2 orange looking rubber covers on the speedo cable. One is at the base on the gearbox and the other further up towards the engine(i pulled it back and found a metal clip) which do i attach the delimter into and is it easy to do?

i had to get that done on my 96 sti last yr and they fitted it between the two orange rubbers which was about half way down the cable between the bulk head and where it scews in to the gear box, i dont think its hard to do u just have to make sure u connect them back together properly i think it only goes back in one way anyway, hope this helps???? jamie.
