Hi guys,
yes sorry another newbie.
MY99 uk impreza turbo started to miss and wouldn't rev and now wont start.
AA guy came out and tried unpluggin alsorts and eventually put on back of wagon.

I would like to reset the ecu before i look at fault codes but according to jollygreenmonster.co.uk this involves correct connectors plugged in then start the engine (which i cant do)
Is there any otherway of resetting the ECU?

I am going to try testing the coil packs after reading the forums.

ps Anyone know of a good specialist or garage around the preston lancashire area?

Leave the battery disconnected for a few hours

btw you dont have to start the engine to get the codes to flash
