Default Samco Hoses

Hey there

I've just ordered a new header tank from Grade A as mine has split. When i fit it I'm planning on putting on a samco coolant hose kit as my hose are looking a little past it. I have a MY92 version 2 but the heads on my engine are version 4 heads, does this make any difference to the kit i have to buy?

Also i currently have a mixture of hose clamps on the car, what would be the best ones to use?

As for clamps just read about Mikalor clamps, are they any better really?

It depends which header tank you bought?
If its the earlier pre96 type then it wont make a difference.

The later header tank has longer hoses which go to the rad. So the earlier coolant kit from samco pre96 will have 2 short hoses.

As for the heads no difference there too.

Cheers mate its the same type of header tank so i should be ok with the V2 kit. I thought it didn't make a difference but thought I'd better check, didn't want to get it all off and have the wrong kit!!! Now to order it!!!
