Has anyone used an exhaust bung?,just wondered how much quieter it will be and are there any running issues with the back pressure it may cause.

 

I use my bung quite often on the Blitz Nur Spec R, stops a lot of the bass, still noisy, but the bass is much much less. Which is good for when coming home late or going out late. Haven't ever had issues with it, floored it many a time with the bung in. Only problem was that it rattled, but a bit of heat and a hammer sorted that out

 

The bung in my kakimoto works really well, very quiet. Obvious loss of power but doesnt cause any problems with the engine itself.

 

I use mine in my Blitz sometimes too, modified it to prevent rattles...

 

I hate putting the bung in my Nur Spec, only ever use it at Elvington
