Default standard to sti spec

i have a standard 97/98 2.0 turbo uk spec car fitted with import ecu (hits limiter around 4250rpm)
i've of a sti ra ecu, what other parts will i need to take it up to sti ra spec? turbo, injectors,???

whats different with the engine?
i plugged the ecu into my car, it ran,but not right!

The sti will have some forged bits inside the engine, the UK spec will not. Sti has different heads on this year which allow it to rev to 8000rpm. Essentially it cant be done unless you change the engine.

Yup, pointless excercise unless you want to change the whole engine, and the ECU would still have to be remapped for UK SUL unless you can run Tesco 99 the whole time.....

Block, pistons, heads complete, injectors, fuel pump, turbo, intercooler pipe all spring to mind!

What 'limiter' do you hit, I presume the overboost fuel cut, in which case get your boost turned down and get a remap of your car to up the boost safely!

replace using the sti maf sensor to run it but it still wont perform well

The ra has a different turbo, maf, injectors, intercooler, etc etc. ofcourse it won't work properly. Remind me to avoid your car if you ever come to sell!
