Default clutch pedel staying down. please help!!!!

hi everyone

the clutch pedel on my impreza is staying down when i but my foot down hard.

any ideas how to fix it.

Check the return spring on the clutch fork.

do they streech or something???,and it only dose it when nailing it

the spring pushes the pedal towards you (to return the pedal) for the first part of the movement, but after that it actually pushes the pedal towards to floor (itis on a fulcrum). This is to make the clutch feel a bit lighter.

You can adjust the point at which the slave cylinder is activated by the pedel to ensure that the slave cylinder pushes the pedal past the point at which this change over happens, thus returning the pdeal to you. It is possible that this is outon your car or you may have a leaky slave cylinder which is contributing to the problem (hence why it might happen when ragging it).

have u checked inside the car near the pedal if there is any leakages or anything come off the clutch pedal
