Default clutch diy

This has probably been asked loadsa times but my clutch has just started slipping in 5th gear and i wanted to do it myself anybody got any views on how easy or hard it is to do??? Cheers neill

not the worst job mate easier with someone to help you 2 pairs of hands are better than one, i opt for gearbox out way. Put in a good one so you dont have to do it again.

i never bother with a manual just get stuck in!!! Get a friend round to help you and spend money on a ap racing clutch or exedy organic clutch!!

Excedy organic everytime.

If you have access to a ramp, a transmission jack and a willing mate then do it the gearbox out way if you dont then the engine out way is loads easier.

Dont forget to take the starter motor off and slide the clutch pin out behind the blanking plug. A few people miss this and have an absolute mare splitting the box and the engine. Without doing this it won't come off!!!
