Default UK 2000 Power?

Had my car on the rollers today at Surrey rolling road. Its a UK2000, standard apart from back box, it ran 238.4 BHP and 240 Torque.
I was well impressed with this as they are supposed to be 215 out of the box?

Was thinking of decatting and remapping....what gain do you think I will see from this?

Your help is very much appreciated!

250 on the dyno mine pulled.... decat, magnex ss exh, standard turbo boosting at 1.1.. could be 270 but i got a boost leak somewhere, which is causing it to drop after she peaks at 4k rpm

Thanks for the replies chaps! The guy did say it could be a Prodrive one but I thoght they were sposed to be about 260 ish?? Anyway think I will go for de cat and remap, but I would be hoping to push more than 260 otherwise don't see it is worth it for another 20bhp or so.
The guy did say after testing it that it is running sweet, fuelling etc was fine. May post up pics of the dyno graphs, as apart from the first one I haven't got a clue what they mean!

OK here they are.....any mappers out there want to stick their oar in!

If someone could tell me what they all mean it would be appreciated!

The PPP is meant to be 240bhp.

When I dynod mine before the remap it was 230bhp, and after 273bhp.

This was @ Powerstation though, which are renowned as being 'conservative' figures!

Mods:

JR panel filter
Magnex backbox & resonated centre decat
Ninja Sports Cat downpipe
3 port boost solenoid

It was remapped to 1.25bar.

So if its not been PPPd, those are blinking good figures

Seems good power for very little modifications , Get a full decatted system a remap and you should be able to max out the td04 then at about 270 iirc. Or upgrade the turbo and you will be nearer 300.

no oar to stick in..

currently fuelling a bit rich, not a bad thing, potential to lean it out further etc..

boost drops off at the top.. hold the boost longer would also see a big gain as well as running more boost along with the decat..

Although the power will be increased with a remap that is only half the store, the throttle response, fuel economy, usability of the power will all be improved.

Don't worry I just looked at you webby! Would I have to have the ECUTEK remap then as its a 2000? What figures do you think I would be looking at. Thanks

Don't have to have an EcuTek on it but most likely candidate for this upgrade.

The TD04 is really a 280bhp turbo.. you get the odd one that makes more and the fact yours has made good figures as standard holds it in good stead for nice numbers once mapped.

mine went form this

to this after mapping with a partial decat + mapped

to this after full decat + map tweek

it wasn't running right on the well lane one, although i wouldn't ever put it back on there rollers cos all they do is strap it down and thrash it, no sensors etc .

o but now im up to this

hehe

cheers

the cost from first one to thrd isn't huge, well around a grand ish.

the jump from third to last is well into 4 figures (think 4+ iirc, new turbo, frontmount, ecu, induction kit etc and alot of other supporting mods like oil cooler, gauges to keep eye on things and so on

is a bit evil though when you floor it nope though lol, and i was amazed even at 340 it will step out on you if it hits full power when turning, but adds to the fun

PPP figures are 237 bhp and 258 lb/ft.

You can easily tell if it is a prodrive... check to see if there is a blue prodrive hose in front and below the tmic.
