Default removing ecu

how easy is it?need to do mine surely its just a case of swapping back to standard and it should be fine?

Swapping the ecu out is a doodle. Passenger side footwell, pull the carpet up, remove the kick plate and then its 3 bolts i think.

The plugs in the ecu can be a bit fiddly, i used a screwdriver to gently pry the plugs out!

thought it should be,so just take it out and plug in is all it needs,would the stock ecu going back in work straight away or will i have to take it for a drive for a bit while it sorts itself out?will it also adjust itself allowing for the de-cat pipe and run nicely? cheers

The ECU will adjust the fueling and ignition requirements within it's capability, what year is it?
