cost of having your 440's made variable
need some more injectors, i have phase 1.5 440s at the moment, wondered what the cost of having them made variable costs, saves buying some more later in year

Dont take this as gospel but I always understood variable injectors simply refer to altering the fuel pressure. For example 440's will flow more than 440 if the fuel pressure is upped, hence variable rate if you vary the fuel pressure.

i found this on 22b.com
posted by lateral performance, so i'll have to ring him
Paul's right about the 380's, I can't do anything with them.
The following figures are an "average" flow for injectors once I have modified them. Allow +/- 5%
Modified 99-00 Yellows:
3 bar 900
3.5 bar 980
4 bar 1045
4.5bar 1135
Modified Blue & Yellow 505cc latest side feeds:
3 bar 800
3.5 bar 880
4 bar 960
4.5 bar 1020
Nismo type 740's:
3 bar 940
3.5 bar 1020
4 bar 1100
4.5 bar 1135
Atomisation improves with pressure, and I would suggest 3.5 bar as a minimum.
I know that 4 bar has been tried, & tested over the last 2 years, without issue, but I would suggest careful monitoring if 4.5 bar is going to be used, as I've not tested them long term.
