Iv had my impreza in my garage for about a month now so i thought id give it a turn over to keep it sweet, battery has been disconnected so i put that back on.

its got a standard alarm with a subaru key fob and what looks like a sigma siren under the hood.

set the alarm. unset it as i would normally to get in, go to start it, all lights on as usual, turn the key, nothing! and the alarm gave a quick chirp

so im assuming its immobilised somehow? tryed a few times and nothing, starter didnt even turn over

anyone know how to fix it????

 

Sounds like thew battery has gone flat, chirp i think indicates low volts, try putting your headlamps on, are they bright? if not battery may need a re-charge.

 

agree , my battery goes flat after 3 weeks let alone 4 .

 

got the battery on charge now boys, hope it is that!
