Default A COUPLE OFQUESTIONS?????power loss?

i have a couple of questions about my 1995 import wrx. hi and thank u to any one who answers. i thought id put them in one thread if that is ok. dan

1- when i put my foot down fully my car seems fine to drive. if i put my foot down slightly and and accellerate slow - moderate, it drives fine but when i reach about 70-80 it looses the power and goes flat so i take my foot off then seems to be ok. any ideas on why im losing power?

2-is the maf sensor sealed in place, how do i remove and clean it?

3- does any1 have a rough price on a- power steering o ring and b- rocker gasket

4- my mate reckons that if the tyre depths fall between 2mm of being the same on driver/passenger side it can **** the diff up?

5- what tyre pressures is best on my 215/45/17 tyres

CHEERS DAN!!

Hi Dan. I can help you with one prob. I had the same as you with the hesitation. I had everything changed; plugs, leads, coilpacks. It turned out to be lambda sensor which they checked with a volt meter and it looked fine but wasn't. Get it checked by someone with the right testing gear and if it is that just buy a cheap universal replacement not a subaru one. Mine wasn't flashing a CEL either.

If it does turn out to be the lambda I'm using one of these third one down Lambda Sensors - Cats Direct Its lasted about six months so far and for the money compared to a subaru one you're laughing
