Question Could my clutch master cylinder be squeaking??

A squeaky clutch pedal has been driving me nuts for some time. When the clutch was changed the thrust bearing fork pivot was removed, cleaned, greased and replaced with no effect. I have just removed the clutch pedal assembly, stripped, cleaned and greased it, again to no effect. Is there anything inside the master cylinder that might be causing it? It's usually fine until the engine warms up but lately it's doing it all the time and it's surprisingly hard to tell exactly where it's coming from but it does seem to be around the bulkhead area. The master cylinder is about all that's left but I don't want to disturb it unless I have to. Any ideas GRATEFULLY welcome
