how do i clean the boost solenoid and what is a MAF

1) Disconnect the vacuum pipes (remembering which ones are which. You may also want to clean them through as they will be where any crud is coming from.)

2) Connect the green self test connectors under the dash.

3) Turn on ignition.

4) Your fan and various other things will start to operate and the solenoid should start clicking.

5) Spray some brake cleaner into the vacuum ports and allow to drain.

6) Turn off ignition.

7) Disconect self test leads.

8) Reconnect vacuum hoses.

the one with the metal clip on & the one directly above if that makes sense
