Smile Need Help About Brakes Please

Hi all i have just recently put new front discs and pads on my subaru impreza 2001 bugeye,grooved discs and Ferodo racing pads bought from a trader on scoobynet,i am having a big problem when i brake at 60mph or over the steering wheel shakes alot but does not when i brake at 10mph to 65mph,

any ideas asap in need of help thanks

Sounds like disc run out. A while go I had a similar prob with new AP strapdrive discs, in the end I sold them to a guy who accepted the prob and got them refaced by AP (apparantly they were very helpful) and he was well pleased. Suggest you find someone with a dial gauge and check for runout. Possibly remove the discs again and make sure the hub faces are clean so disc sits flat. Some runout can be addressed by indexing the discs (ie trying in different positions on the hub) so errors in disc and hub cancel each other out.
