I recently brought a high rise front scoop off ebay, it came with a stainless "air catcher" which bolts on underneath the hood.

unfortunately neither fit as its for a import and mine isn't!!

Can anyone tell me what these "air catcher" things are actually called or any spec or average cost??

I wouldn't have thought it being for an import would be a problem perhaps it's the year of the car is making it not fit as Zerosports do them for each chassis type

Price is about £50 depending on exchange rate.

Could always speak to Triton to see what they could do if anything.

 

My Uk 2000 Turbo has the intercooler Straight on the top of the engine,
on the import models are on an angle!! So it completely doesn't match-up!

All pre 97 cars have angled intercoolers all post have straight ones, this will cause problems if you have the wrong hood for you intercooler.

As toofast said you just got the wrong version thats all (at least you may get your money back )
