i have a 2002 wrx which has just had a vf34 full decat and new fuel pump and plugs of course it has been remapped. my problem is after a couple of weeks running after remap the car under hard acceleration the power would completely cut.not the lights or instruments just the power. after pulling over the car would start up straight away no probs.also under acceleration the engine management light would come on and flash around 4/5 times the last time this happened the engine management light came on and stayed on has any one have any answers or any knowledge of why it does this.any help would be much appreciated.

 

Get back to whoever mapped it !

agreed get it looked at by whoever mapped it asap.

make sure you drive steady and keep off boost until has been checked out

 

sound like it's over boosting big time!!

 

Yea very much or even fuel cutting if its compleatly cutting out.Get it back there . . . . . . . slowly
