if you dont want loud dont get the blitz, even with the standard centre and downpipe they are loud, when i get my car back ill be changing from the blitz to somethin quieter as i got too much hassle from police over the noise
alright mate.i had a blitz nur spec s back box with a ninja sports cat and afterburner centre section and i hated it.it was very load as i expected but there wasnt a deep rumble which is what i was after.the cabin drone at 70mph was unbearable.so i decided to change to an afterburner vortex.now i am completely happy with the sound my exhaust makes.no drone and a deep rumble and still loud and getting louder every day
i have a biltz system from the turbo, and without the bug thing, you get its so so loud and when you put the bug in its alittle quiter in the car but still well loud out side,i got pulled a week ago.
i think i will change the back boxs soon, dose you head in sometimes

I do love the noise of mine, unfortunately the local cops and my neighbours dont even with the bung in,and as i start work at 6 its not a great atmosphere at my street.

drilled another hole opposite where the bold is and tack welded another nut onto it with a bolt from the inside, instead of going through the exhaust it just presses onto the inside of the pipe

Excellent idea, saves damaging the tail pipe in any way. I will get to it tomorrow...
I suppose adding two bolts in a "Y" pattern would make damn sure it wouldn't rattle.

To stop the bung rattling, heat up the tip (the bit that is the same size as the exhaust) over your oven stove or something, make sure you're holding the bung with something that will stop you getting burnt btw !!
Once rather hot, get the pliers and try to bend it out, then do the same and hammer it from the inside out. It won't look like you've done much, but you've bent it out a fair bit, and not it fits very snug in the exhaust, and doesnt rattle
