Default Coolong issue.

Hey all

New to this site.. Im going to look at a wrx wagon this sunday.. However it has a problem with the cooling system.. The seller has said when you start it after 5-10mins when the system gets to temperature the coolant system dumps all the fluid out? Its got a new rad and new water pump. What could it be? Is there any obvious problems with the cooling system that are common like this? Any help much appreciated

Cheers

Sounds very much like a head gasket failure to me.

I would check for Air lock, Thermostat, Head gasket. If it turns out to be the head gaskets its an engine out job and quite costly.

Walk away (TBH I'd phone bloke rather than waste his and your time) as there are LOADS of very good cars out there for silly money..! Why buy one that's got the potential to be a money pit..?
