Re-posting this here i did post it in the general section oops silly me.

I own an X Reg 2001 last of the classic shape, im pretty sure that the Turbo is a TD04 i would just like a few people to confirm this please im having trouble with the turbo looks like im going to need to change it. Im wondering if i could fit a TD05 as a direct replacement without having to change or re-map the ECU?

Also could anyone give me some details on what ECU maybe in the car or the easiest way to find out, Thanks guys any help would be really appretiated

Turbo should be a TD04L, You would be best off replacing it with the same if your not getting it mapped.

If you get stuck I have a low milage TD04L sitting on my Garage shelf
