I fitted a new Bailey Dump valve to my 01 Bugeye 6 weeks ago. I have just been out for a short drive and appear to have lost the swoosh noise. Could the valve have developed a fault? and could I damage the engine if it is faulty. Is this a normal problem? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
