I bought an 05 GT Wgn over the summer. Love driving it but recently it has been getting louder especially at higher speeds, and yesterday started hearing a slight whining noise. Both issues seem to be turbo related. Haven't noticed any performance issues (I think) but it might be lagging more than usual. I think I've been subconsciously babying it since I noticed the noise.

Any suggestions? I'll probably bring it in for service next week, but I am worried they'll tell me nothing's wrong and charge $150 for their trouble.
