Thinking of the option of building a 2.35 from a 2.0 CDB instead of buying a 2.5 from the US.
I guess this would mean Boring the block out to a 2.2 and fitting new liners.
Doesn't something else in the block need to be machined to take the later style crank aswell ?
Who can do this and roughly what does it cost??

I think 1mm over is generally considered the max, if you're going to run decent power.
You'll also find that any bigger than 1mm, and you'll need to get custom pistons made, and sort out different head gaskets.
If you want to use the 2.0lt CDB, but want bigger, it's easier to stroke it using the 2.5lt crank, and appropriate pistons/rods.
Mark.
