Default Exhaust Upgrade

I have just replaced the back box on my '05 WRX I have been informed that there is a resonator box just infron of the tail pipe which stops the NICE Noise coming out. I have also been informed that the CAT just infron of the Centre section stops the noise.

Any advice on what i can do, im not bothered about too much noise just want to be able to listen to the burble at a nice volume.
Also does taking the CAT out gain a little power?? that would be nice too.

A yes to all your questions
Removing the cat and resonator will increase power and noise.
If you want more power and more noise go for a full de-cat (totaly on your own desicion though not mine )

Sorry to ba a pest but just how much noise? I dont want my car to sound like a n*bhead corsa (hairdryer) drivers car with a huge exhaust as they buzz around at 3mph flat out.

No offence to corsa drivers intended as i was really refering to all boy racers with crap cars...once again no offence to these drivers.

Depends on what backbox you've put on.
