Exhaust manifold wrx import
Hya,
Iam thinking of buying a new exhaust manifold from ebay £159, it says it will increase the bhp by at least 25bhp. It as a built in up pipe to the turbo, has anybody fitted one because the seperate standard up pipe is tricky to get in.
I have a 1994 wrx import.
Any thoughts would be great.
thanks mark

I fitted 1 of these cheapo jobs to my last scoob, they have a big reputation for cracking within a year, although mine didn't . You have to get the car quite high off the ground to fit them & I had to force mine in 180deg rotated even with the engine mounts loose just to clear the gap between the cylinder & subframe.
I think most people will advise you to fit an up-pipe & port your standard headers. I have HKS headers on my current car & they have cracked, so its not all about how much you spend.
