Default intercooler differences

I was just wondering if there was any significant difference between a my00 tmic and the later models i.e. my02> im wanting to fit a hks ssqv and theres some on ebay cheaper than shops etc but they are only listed from my 02 onwards

So your choice of intercooler is based on the need to use a certain dv? interesting thought,the later newage i/c are bigger than the classic,the best is the sti 8 version for flow and cooling capabilities.....

I run a 2004 wrx item over my original my00 version

sorry no im being cheap to get a dv from scooby parts its £250 to get one off ebay is about half i just wondered whether it would fit

Newage intercoolers will fit to later classics no problem,guides on how to do are in the project section....
