Lightbulb T25 intake system..?

Can anyone tell me about the T25 (hawkeye) air intake..?

It looks oem, but there's obviously some extra cooling going on as they have a cold air feed from o/s fog cover. Do they still run the resonator/snorkel in the wing, if so what's the point of the fog air intake..?

Probably snorklectomy, with ducted air from fog and left the plastic intake in place in the engine bay for OE look.

It could be an oil cooler mounted behind intake.
The air intake may well be std.

I did wonder if the fog duct fed something other than air intake.

Would be nice to know from a T25 owner (or maybe PS/Litcho..? )

The oil cooler sits in front of the rad on the left hand side as you look at the car.

Jason,

It was a cold air feed to the standard airbox fitted prior to the 2006 Tuner GP

So the standard air intake system is good for 400bhp then?

I have changed back from a K&N Typhoon CAIK, to the standard air box with Green filter. My next mod was to get a pair of Zero Sports ducts which fit in place of the fog light covers and then route the drivers side one to the airbox as a cold air feed.

My target is 380 to 400bhp.....will the intake I have planned be ok?

Thanks Iain, I appreciate the info..

So , does the ram scoop just feed into inner wing and cold air feed from fog go direct to airbox, ie deleting resonator/snorkel..?

(any chance of a blueprint..? )

regards,
Jason
