Question

Simple Q - are they interchangable - i.e, can I put a 98 airbag wheel in a 97(also airbag) and still have the airbag.

Thanks,
Mark.

Lightbulb

I asked the dealer about and they said no.

But I'm sure i've seen a couple of threads a while ago regading some poeple who've done it.

from a poor memory (so don't quote me ) - I think its just a fiddle because the connector / wiring is different. Pity the search is kaput..

Yes it is possible. I've done it on a MY95 (same wheel as MY97). A small amount of effort and the correct tools - but well worth the hassle.
